Our Mission & Vision
Calvary Chapel of Lancaster
‘s mission is to teach others to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. How is this done? Through feeding from the living Word of God. Our vision is to see the church grow more deeper than it does wider; To see the fold of God grow strong and healthy, able to rightly divide the Word of truth.
Our Leadership Team
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Where Can I Serve?
At Calvary Chapel of Lancaster, there is always room for help. We only ask that new members and new believers sit under the teaching for at least six months. Show your commitment to study and “show yourself approved” and when you’re ready let us know, we could use your help.
We support the needs and vision of Waterstreet Ministries. Mentors are always needed to help support those who are trying to get a fresh start on their new life through Christ.
“I was in prison and you did not visit Me…” is what Jesus told His disciples many would say to Him on that day. We all make mistakes in life, sometimes we just need someone there who can help us get back on the right track. Is God calling you to be a mentor to someone in need who doesn’t have the freedom to reach out to you?
At Calvary Chapel of Lancaster, we don’t serve meals at church, but we do offer snacks and coffee before and after the service. Helpers to set up and serve helps bring others together in closer fellowship.
The way the church of God grows is through faithful servants who take what they learn and share it with others. Home fellowships are a way to continue feeding off of God’s Word daily. They also provide a way for developing lasting close relationships with others within the family of Christ.
“My house shall be called a house of prayer…” -Matt. 21:13. Enough cannot be said about prayer and the need for those who will stand in the gap. We have prayer meetings and a prayer chain. God has called all of us to be mighty in prayer.
The first person anyone sees when they walk in the church is the greeter. First impressions are lasting ones. We always welcome those who have a heart to welcome others. There are also those in the church who cannot drive themselves. If you live near one, offer them a ride on Sunday, I’m sure they will appreciate it.
